Kelly Thorp founded Thorp Leadership Consulting to support leaders, teams, and organizations. She delivers all end-to-end services for each client which fuels long term partnerships and the best possible outcomes. As a coach, Kelly leverages her experience in past executive roles, consulting, and incorporates industry best practices to deliver custom solutions to each client.
Kelly has 25 years of experience in executive human resources roles, coaching, and organizational effectiveness consulting to draw from. Prior to launching Thorp Leadership Consulting, she served as President of a Twin Cities organizational effectiveness firm and spent over ten years at a publicly-traded retailer in senior executive roles in sales, culture development, and human resources.
The work she does spans across all industries and she has been fortunate to work with: Bridges, Meyers, ShopHQ, Target, SafeNet Consulting, University of Minnesota Physicians, General Mills, The BWC (The Business Women's Circle), Epicentric Consulting, Girl Scouts, and many other public and privately held companies. In addition to her partnerships with organizations, Kelly works with private clients who invest in their own development.
No matter the role, organization, or assignment Kelly's purpose is to elevate the performance and confidence of others. Her greatest professional joy is getting to know each client and partnering to shape their next steps towards increased effectiveness.
Kelly lives in Edina, Minnesota with her husband Scott and their dog Sam. Outside of work she enjoys travel, music, documentaries, time with friends, and cooking.
